One simple strategy you can use to grow your business is to investigate what’s already working well and do more of the same.

Although there are many facets to growing a six-or-seven-figure business, repeating successful processes and products is one that will work whatever size or stage you’re at.

Analyse what has been working well, and do more of that.

  1. Traffic: what is generating the most views?
  2. Products: what are people spending money on?
  3. Social media: what platform and types of post work best?
  4. Engagement: what precisely are people reacting to?

Regularly look at the data and analyse where people are going, what pushes their buttons and what products they love to buy. Then, make some more.

Take it further than audience reactions.

“There are always multiple areas of your business where there are opportunities to spot things that are going well and to do more of those.”

The great thing about doing more of what works is that you don’t need grand visions and huge targets to be effective. Instead, you can focus on positive iteration – asking the simple question, “How can we get 1% better this week?”

Create momentum and a “growing market” within your business.

“The single biggest advantage in any business is to be in a growing market because the whole tide of society moves towards spending money on that.”

You are in control of the momentum and direction in your business, so set aside time to check the data and understand where the signs of traction are. Then, discuss these with your staff and decide how to do more of the same.

Ride on the waves of momentum in your business. Keep producing, stay consistent, and look for signs of success.

Do more of whatever’s working well and enjoy the growth that repeating it will bring.
